Join All Nations Together in Antwerp for a day at the Antwerp Zoo THIS SATURDAY!

We will meet at the Zoo entrance at 14:00 on SATURDAY, 31 MAY. We plan to stay at the park until 18:00, then walk a short distance to a Chinese restaurant on the Grote Markt for a meal together. You can join us for the zoo only, or plan to join us for dinner later. It's up to you! But come and join us!

The core group of ANTIA would love to spend time with you and your family, so come and join us! If you would like to attend, we simply need to know a number for the restaurant by Friday afternoon. Simply reply to this message to give us the number of people in your group.

Cost for the Zoo is 17.50 EUR for adults - or if we have 15 persons, 14.50 EUR.

What's So Amazing About Grace?

Mention the word "grace" and what immediately comes to mind for most of us is a bagpipe wailing the solemn notes of "Amazing Grace."

The grace of which Philip Yancey writes is the freely given and unmerited favor and love of God. This grace seems a remote, almost sentimental concept, without a place in our lives or our society. It is a vague, slippery thing to us, probably because we seem to experience grace so rarely and have managed to leech the word of meaning. But Philip Yancey has set about to rescue grace in his book What's So Amazing About Grace?

We changed locations on Saturday to the Antwerp Seafarer's Centre. Thanks to all who came and we look forward to you joining us next Saturday. But first, let's review what we discovered this week!

First, we discovered we were made to worship God. Second, we were designed for fellowship with one another.

This week we found that our third purpose in life is to BE LIKE JESUS!

GOD uses TROUBLE to teach us to TRUST HIM.
GOD uses TEMPTATION to teach us to OBEY.
GOD uses TRESPASSES to teach us to FORGIVE.

We had a great night on Saturday discovering our purpose in life. People from nine nations met together to discuss the book "The Puprose Driven Life" and then to discover that our first purpose in life is to WORSHIP GOD.

Worship is FOCUSING MY ATTENTION ON GOD.
Worship is EXPRESSING MY AFFECTION FOR GOD.
Worship is USING MY ABILITIES FOR GOD.

Join us on Saturday, 10 March at 20:00 for an Informational Meeting regarding the new church development project of All Nations Together In Antwerp (ANTIA). We will meet together for prayer, fellowship, and to help you learn what ANTIA is all about. We will present the vision for starting a English-speaking church fellowship, and you can ask questions you may have for us.

Together in Prayer

ANTIA was joined by several new friends at two events during the weekend.

On Friday 9 February, we had a special time of prayer, for Antwerp and the communities in which we wish to reach with an English-speaking fellowship, on the campus of Continental Theological Seminary (Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. Several new faces graced our circle of prayer, and we are thrilled that they came to pray for this new outreach and are seeking the place that God may have for them at ANTIA.

On Saturday, 10 February, another informational meeting was held at Philadelphia Church in Hoboken. We continue to see God at work as He brings individuals that wish to give their time, talents, and treasure, to see a new international English-speaking church raised up in Antwerp.

We are excited to see the people that God is bringing into the core group of ANTIA, and the direction that He is taking this English-speaking International fellowship. First Informational Meeting

ANTIA held it's first informational meeting on Saturday, 2 December, with 28 people present, including many guests, core group and families, and representatives of Evangelische Kerk Philadelphia. ANTIA leader, Reijo Nevalainen, shared the vision behind starting a new international church in Antwerp. Our mission is to:

Bring glory to God
Build the Kingdom of God in Antwerp and the world
Share the reconciliation of God to all people
